Fukushima Remembered -- Protest San Onofre 3/11/12
March 11, 2012 marks the 1 year anniversary of the Fukushima Daiichi Disaster; San Onofre continues to be shutdown because of safety issues.
Join us for a Peaceful protest and rally against the continued risky and costly operation of the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant and to Commemorate the Victims of Fukushima
Location: Near south gate of nuclear power plant on Basilone Road, San Clemente
Gather 12:30 p.m.; Program and demo 1-3 p.m.
RIDE THE NO NUKES EXPRESS: Buses are being organized from San Diego. $10 round trip; pick up at Balboa Park and Oceanside Transit Center. To reserve a seat, contact Marcia Patt at marciapatt@cox.net
Parking is very limited! Limited parking at San Onofre State Beach Park, $15 per car. We suggest carpooling. If you are coming and organizing a bus from your area, please check with us about drop-off and parking options.
