What's Next in the Struggle for Marriage Equality?
This Green Party forum commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion that gave birth to the movement for lesbian and gay liberation. Hear speakers discuss the state of the struggle for marriage equality and strategies for building the movement. With speakers:
- Ann Menasche : Member, County Council, Green Party of San Diego County; long-time lesbian activist
- Zakiya Khabir : San Diego Alliance for Marriage Equality (S.A.M.E.)
The GPSD will host this forum at the Joyce Beers Community Center
on 1010 Vermont St. just North of University in Hillcrest (near Trader Joe's in the Uptown Shopping Center).
