Join the Green Party of San Diego County as part of the Single Payer Action Coalition on Thursday, January 14th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Chula Vista Library Auditorium at 365 F Street, Chula Vista.
The day before MLK Day, come learn more about the basic issues of our nation’s and California's health care crisis, the basic components of the California’s single-payer plan, and how you can help carry on Dr. King’s legacy for justice. A short film and speakers, such as Dr. Jeoffry Gordon from the California Physician’s Alliance, will be featured.

Please come to the SD Green Party Monthly meeting this Saturday to sign petitions to put Green Party candidates on the November ballot.
The California Green Party has a slate of candidates for all the state offices for the 2010 elections and we can only get them on the ballot if our members sign their name on our petitions. Even if you do not wish to attend the meeting, please make every effort to come by for a few minutes and sign the petitions. One of the candidates is our own San Diego County Green Party council member Ann Menasche (running for Secretary of State).
The meeting will be at the Joyce Beers Community Center (1220 Cleveland Ave., across the street from Trader Joe's in Hillcrest).
In addition to helping get Green candidates on the ballot, we'll discuss attending the annual EarthFair in Balboa Park on April 18th, and we'll talk about potential forum topics for our February meeting.
