The Green Party is cosponsoring this project with Animal Protection and Rescue League (APRL)
to encourage San Diegans to explore reducing meat and other animal products in
their diet for one week in order to improve their health, protect the
environment and prevent cruelty to animals. There are daily activities,
including movie, nutrition lecture, bake sale, and cooking class, and prizes.
The website has links to recipes, local veg-friendly restaurants and lots of
information.

The Green Party of San
Diego will be holding elections for the county council at our general
membership meeting Oct. 24th at the Joyce Beers Community Center. While the Green Party endeavors to put all decisions to the vote of the general membership it is the job of the council to conduct meetings, organize events and vote on issues when it is not possible to get a vote of the GM.
If you want to run for a position on the council or vote for a candidate you must come to this meeting. The only requirement for either is that you be a registered Green. We hope to see everyone out there!
