­The Green Party of San Diego County is hosting Green Solutions for and by San Diegans­, a Post Earth Day Event set for Saturday, April 25th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Joyce Beers Community Center (­1010 Vermont St. just North of University in Hillcrest).

The event will begin with a potluck lunch, and features the following presentations:

• Be Green and Decentralize Corporate Power
  Making fuel for your car is easier than you think [Erik Kim-Holmgren]
  
• Going Vegetarian/Vegan
  Good for you, good for the planet, good for the animals [Kath Rogers, APRL]
  
• ­Grassroots protection and restoration of San Diego's natural habitats­
  [Janice Barnard, San Diego Canyonlands]

Please bring a dish to share at the potluck­ - vegetarian or vegan dishes are recommended. If possible, please bring your potluck items in your own reusable dishes.

We are asking everyone to please rsvp to events@sdgreenparty.org  so we can coordinate the potluck.
