­­­Contribution Guidelines for the Green Party:

  • An individual may contribute a maximum of $10,000 per calendar year to the Green Party. Though National Committee status permits the Green Party to accept contributions up to $20,000 per year from individuals, but internal Green Party rules cap such donations at $10,000 per year.
  • California law requires political committees to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions exceed $99 in a calendar year.
  • Contributions to the Green Party are not tax deductible.
  • Contributions from the following individuals and entities are prohibited: corporations, labor organizations, national banks, government contractors, foreign nationals.
  • The Green Party of San Diego County will not share your information with other businesses or organizations­
